LINKTREE x VOTE.ORG

Linktree offers their 50M+ users a simple link-in-bio solution that can be used across social channels, to drive their audiences to the things they care about most. For many, that means using their platform for social impact, and during the 2024 US election season one of the most powerful ways of doing that was through voter registration. Linktree wanted to find a nonpartisan way to leverage their platform and their influential user base to mobilize voters ahead of the election in a way that felt authentic to their brand.
-
Parity designed and executed a campaign for Linktree to help voters make sure they were registered to vote, while positioning Linktree as a socially engaged brand at the center of culture. Linktree teamed up with Vote.org, America’s largest nonpartisan voter registration platform, to power a voter registration hub that U.S. voters used to make sure they were ready to vote. Launching on National Voter Registration Day, and in partnership with top cultural voices including Kerry Washington, Olivia Rodrigo, Steph Curry, Saweetie, Maggie Rogers, and more, we partnered with Linktree users to drive their audiences to the voter registration hub through their Linktree profiles and link-in-bio.
Parity developed and launched a campaign for Linktree aimed at helping U.S. voters confirm their voter registration status, while positioning Linktree as a socially engaged brand deeply rooted in culture. In partnership with Vote.org, America’s largest nonpartisan voter registration platform, Linktree created a voter registration hub where voters could easily check their registration status and prepare for Election Day. The campaign kicked off on National Voter Registration Day and featured a dynamic partnership with influential cultural figures and Linktree users such as Kerry Washington, Olivia Rodrigo, Steph Curry, Saweetie, Maggie Rogers, and more, driving their audiences to the voter registration hub via their Linktree profiles. A strategic marketing and comms effort including Digital OOH marketing, Linktree social channels, and proactive press outreach helped Linktree break through the cultural conversation with this campaign and reach over 1B in total audience.

According to Vote.org, by Election Day 2024, over 8 million young Americans had turned 18 years old since the 2022 midterms. Young voters historically have the lowest turnout of any age group, so mobilizing them to vote was critical. Initiatives like this one meet young voters where they are, by bringing voter registration to the forefront of the cultural conversation through the digital spaces of the public figures they follow. This campaign was a dedication to social good and a strategic effort to empower eligible voters to participate in a fundamental part of our democracy. It was also a smart way for Linktree to drive meaningful social impact, while positioning themselves as a culturally relevant brand by helping their users connect their audiences with the things they care about most.
